What do you need to curl?  

Clean indoor running shoes, flexible & warm clothing and mitts or gloves that have some grip!
We have brooms, sliders and grippers that you can borrow while you decide whether you'd like to invest in your own equipment. 

Once you decide you'd like to join for a season or schedule you'll probably want to invest in your own lighter weight/modern broom and your own gripper.  These items are available for purchase at curling stores like Shot Rock Shop (on Anne Street in Barrie).  You might even want to get a pair of curling shoes to take your game to the next level.

How can you learn?

Come to a clinic and we'll have an experienced curler work with you and show you the basics so you can give it a try!
We have clinics in the fall and by appointment throughout the season.

Our Learn to Curl league runs for six weeks in November/December and is by far the best bang for your buck!  You'll come away with the confidence and skills to join our leagues.

Most of our leagues are open to new curlers so join one that looks fun to you and learn as you go along each week.  Don't worry - there's lots of people who can answer your questions.

How much is it?  

Your first clinic is free!
New curlers are invited to join our Learn to Curl League in the fall.  It will be running for six weeks in November-December.  For $125 you will get instruction and some experience curling.  The Learn to Curl league will wrap up in time for you to join for second schedule if you're interested.  Members already in a league can sign up and come to further develop their skills for free!

I already know how to curl!  How do I join?

Super!  We'd love to have you join our club!

Prices for adult membership for 2024/2025 season are:   

• Full Season Unlimited Curling Membership:  $600 (includes a locker)
• Full Season 1 League/Week Curling Membership: $500 (includes sparing)
• Half Season Membership: $375 (includes sparing in your half-season only)
• Junior members: $100 (Age 20 and under) For junior curlers who plan to curl in Little Rocks or Junior league only. (Sparing in adult leagues is okay)
• Junior Plus members: $150 (Age 20 and under) For junior curlers who plan to curl in adult leagues, if there is room
